Hardware revisions

Location

The hardware revision is printed on the SIB, above the 3 USB ports.

Versions

Currently, the LAA come into 4 different hardware revisions.

laacli rev

The hardware revision of the LAA can be retrieved using laam or laacli.

Erratas

• rev1:

  • Barrel jack does not work, power needs to be injected via the main 12v rail.

  • PoE exists but does not work.

  • DUT Power rail watchdog does not exist.

  • USB Hub reset is non-functional and causes the hub to hang.

  • SIB EEPROM does not exist.

  • Thermocouple fault.

  • DUT_OPTO pairs use optocouplers and not SSRs.

• rev2:

  • USB Hub reset is non-functional and causes the hub to hang.

  • DUT_OPTO pairs use optocouplers and not SSRs.

  • PoE moved to external header.

• rev3:

  • USB Hub reset is non-functional and causes the hub to hang.
