If you’re reading this section, you’ve received your LAA and are preparing to set it up. Congratulations! This section will walk you through these steps.
Warning
It is highly recommended that for all the steps in this section where the developer is handling or working on an LAA, attaching DUTs, etc. that the user follows industry standard anti-static guidelines. This includes use of a grounded wriststrap as to place all the exposed hardware only on properly grounded anti-static mats.
LAA Unboxing
When you receive your package you will be receiving several important items in the box. This includes the following:
The SIB
A MIB that’s appropriate for your solution.
An LAA Configuration Reference Card. This card includes important information about you LAA. LAA.
Relevant cables
It will be ready to connect a compatible DUT. If the DUT is already enabled, it will be listing in the Devices section of this document.
For currently supported solutions, such as ONELab, your platform is factory enabled. All you will need to do, after configuring your target DUT onto the platform is provide an internet connect into the Main Eth port, turn it on, and it will “phone home,” autoconnecting to Linaro’s cloud service. The only thing remaining at that point is to log into the cloud service (for example ONELab) and your platform will be seen in your subscription.
The serial number on the LAA display will match the one found in the platform found in your subscription.
